The Testimony of The Scriptures

Hey everyone :)

This week has been crazy! So many changes and things happening all at once! I am in a trio with two other Sister missionaries (Hermana Almond and Hermana Hill) until tomorrow morning when we have actual transfers and I receive a new companion. They are so great and I have learned so much from them! We had a lesson with Willy, a man that is in their area who they have only taught once. I got to be there and teach with Hermana Almond and Hill, The Restoration of The Gospel. I honestly think it was the best lesson I have ever taught thus far on my mission. The Spirit was so strong! We could all feel it and I could feel the Spirit working through me as I shared Joseph Smith's experience in the grove (among other things) and as I bore my testimony of the power of The Book of Mormon. When I was talking about The Book of Mormon I mentioned that the Bible was written by the prophets in Jeruselum and that The Book of Mormon was written here in the America. He thus became very interested, and in that moment the coolest thing happened. A scripture that I had studied that very morning came to my mind which I shared with him to expound on the things i was saying.
This scripture is found in the Bible AND The Book of Mormon. It's the exact same and it talks about His (Christ's) "other sheep." (John 10:16 and 3 Nephi 15:21). It was so cool because The Book of Mormon and the Bible were written in two different parts of the world, yet there are the same scriptures that are found in both books such as this one. It was a testimony to me that The Book of Mormon and The Bible really are meant to work together as testimonies of Christ and His Gospel in its fulness. I know this Church is true and that The Book of Mormon is true. I was able to testify of it to Willy and from what he said he was able to feel of its truth too. Ah, I wish i had time to write more. I feel like I'm stopping in mid thought. Maybe I can write more about it next week. I love you all!
