He Hath Prepared The Way

Heavenly Father really is preparing the hearts of the people to hear and accept our message! Yesterday Hermana Rasmussen and I came across a woman named Nelie who was sitting on her porch. We ended up teaching her right then and there. A lot happened, but I wanted to share something specific that took me by surprise at first. We sang to open the lesson "Yo Se Que Vive Mi Señor" (I Know That My Redeemer Lives) with our little hymn books. My companion has a picture of Christ on both sides of her mini hymn book and Nelie told us that she saw that exact picture of Christ in a dream and that in the dream Jesus Christ told her, "you know I live, I'm not on the cross. I live!" Heavenly Father has been preparing Nelie to receive us and hear what we have to say and one way He has been doing that is through dreams. Nelie is ready to hear our message!

My companion has been a little discouraged recently because there are a good amount of people who are willing to listen to our message here, but they just aren't progressing. They aren't willing to take the steps to change and act on the Spirit they've felt and the witness they've received. But these experiences have reminded me that Heavenly Father is preparing the hearts of His children to receive His gospel. We only need to find them as well as continue to plant seeds and prepare the way for others to accept the gospel in time as well.
