We Are God's Children

Hola!

I have a transfer! I can't believe it, but im leaving my first area and my sweet companion Hermana Martínez. I'll let you guys know where I end up and if im training or not next week; we find out in the morning! I'm so nervous!

It's so sad because Hermana Martinez and I finally found someone this transfer who is ready to recieve this gospel and has been progressing so much! His name is Rodolfo (he is like in his 60s). The good part is that I get to come back to be here for his baptism if he's baptized in this next transfer. I really have a feeling that he will be :) I LOVE the lessons we have with him because he is always so interested and ready to learn and has really great, profound questions. It's in the lessons we've had with Rodolfo where I've surprised myself in teaching and applying gospel principles and scriptures and where I've been able to grow right along with him and gain so much more love for this gospel than I thought I even could.

This past week Herman Martinez and I have been focussing on teaching Moses 1:39 to our less actives and investigators that haven't been progressing. It talks about how the Work and Glory of God is to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man. I loved studying more in depth about this scripture and what it really means as I pondered on it. I also looked up the references at the bottom of the page. It's so interesting and special that when we really understand the purpose of our Father in Heaven we better understand our own purpose, and we can find so much joy in knowing who we are. We are sons and daughters of God and, as His Children, we are capable of becoming so much. There isn't anything we can't do or be.

I hope you all remember day by day who you are and how special you are as a son or daughter of God. I love you all!

Love,

Hermana Olivia Nicolosi
